The Museu Marítim de Barcelona is organising the second training on traditional maritime carpentry in the framework of the Navigation du savoir project. The course, which will be held in Malta, is programmed to last four weeks, from the 4th to the 29th of October 2004.

The Malta training will focus on the study, the documentation and appraisal of a maritime heritage, consisting of historical boats of diverse typologies and different conservation conditions. The aim of this study is to value maritime heritage as a whole in order to take the proper steps to preserve it in the future.
